I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
